Originally founded in the United States of America by their prophet Joseph Smith, Latter-day Saints endured much hardship and persecution until they eventually settled into the state of Utah. With her humble beginnings in Ohio and Missouri, the LDS Church grew to the point to where she began sending missionaries into distant lands across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The majority of the world's populace, who would claim some affiliation with religion, still has little understanding of what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is all about.

This text will provide the reader with some of her basic teachings, clear up any misunderstandings, and give a more detailed look into other LDS doctrines and covenants. Since many people will never see what happens inside a Mormon temple, some insight will be offered for those who are curious. We'll look into the teachings of Joseph Smith and reveal some bold statements indicative of his beliefs.
